As it was mentioned during the discussion, the bill (Reg. No. 1024) suggests extending rights of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and local councils to independently decide on purposes for using funds of local environmental protection funds meant for target financing of environmental protection measures.
Respective amendments shall be made to articles 14, 15, and 47 of the current law.
At the same time, Committee members claim the suggested version of amendments to the abovementioned articles "negates content of target use of these funds for financing environmental protection measures".
